Daytona provides programmable sandboxed environments — essentially disposable, reproducible dev containers — where AI agents can execute code, run shell commands, install packages, and manipulate filesystems in full isolation. Instead of letting an agent run rm -rf on your actual machine, you spin up a Daytona workspace, let the agent work inside it, and tear it down when done.
