What it is

Multiply's press release, September 28, 2026, 15:49 ET, announces an Ad Spend Recovery Agent for wasted Google Ads spend. The useful surface is not the dollar headline. It is a daily feed of search terms the agent thinks are off-intent, plus a rule that any action which can affect spend needs a person before it is applied.

At launch the release lists four pieces: a Live Campaigns Workspace (spend, conversions, impression share, quality score, pacing, from live Google Ads data), an Actions Feed that identifies wasted search terms daily so a marketer can block them as negative keywords, Ask Dot for proposed negatives, pauses, budgets, bids, and responsive-search-ad copy, and Pipeline Attribution from spend to pipeline dollars.

Plain-English instructions become a scheduled automation the marketer can inspect and edit.

When to use it

Use the pattern if the account is Google Ads and the job is "show me the search terms that do not match intent, and do not change spend until I say so." The release says the agent is meant to tell a bad keyword from a good keyword attracting bad traffic, because the fix is different: pause the keyword, or add negatives.

Multiply says its services currently cover Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and ChatGPT Ads, with Meta, Reddit, and Bing coming soon. The agent described in this release is the Google Ads spend-recovery product. Do not read the platform list as "this agent already runs those other networks."

What it does well
  • Separates "recommend" from "apply" on anything that can change spend.
  • Lets the instruction be plain English, then turns it into a schedule you can open and edit.
  • Names the daily unit of work: wasted search terms, blocked as negatives from the feed.
  • Says analysis should change with campaign strategy. Traffic that is off-intent in a tight non-brand campaign may be in bounds for a competitor or discovery campaign.
Honest limitations
  • The release says Google Ads accounts typically lose 30% of budget to off-intent traffic, and that an analysis of prospect data found an average of $126,000 in wasted spend per year. Those are Multiply's figures. They are not a finding from this desk.
  • "Up to 700%" is "early customers report," in the company description, not in the product section. Do not ship it as a result.
  • No price is on the release. https://www.gomultiply.com did not load on this check, so there is no verified plan or minimum.
  • Ask Dot can propose bid and budget changes. The approval line covers actions that affect spend. It does not say every proposed copy edit is held the same way. Read the release before you assume the gate covers every button.
  • This entry is from the press release only. The product was not used here.
