Scribble is an agent Pencil launched publicly on September 28, 2026, datelined New York. Pencil is a Brandtech Group company. The post says you give Scribble a brief. It reads the intent, picks agents and skills, sequences the steps, and runs the job in the background.
The jobs the post actually names are resizing and adapting assets, remixing video, and making versions, while applying brand guidelines already in Pencil's Brand Library. It can also use custom agents and skills the marketer has already created.
The control line: the marketer can review the plan before it starts and edit the work once it is produced.
Use it when the unit of work is a brief, not a single prompt, and the job is one of the ones the post names. Do not brief it to buy media. The same post says the link from creative through to media buying is further functionality "towards the end of the year." That is not live in this announcement.
- Moves the input from "which model do I pick" to "here is the brief."
- Keeps a review step before the job runs, and an edit step after.
- Says it applies Brand Library rules already in Pencil, instead of asking the marketer to restate the brand in every prompt.
- Says clients retain ownership of IP generated through Scribble. That is Pencil's statement, not a legal opinion from this desk.
- The 60–80% reduction in time on repetitive tasks is Pencil's testing claim, from the launch post. It is not an independent benchmark. If you quote it, label it.
- The "more than 500,000 marketing briefs" line is Pencil's dataset claim. Same rule.
- Named customer results in the post, including a storyboard-time quote, are Pencil's published quotes. They were not checked here.
- Media buying is explicitly later, not current.
- The launch post does not publish a Scribble-specific price.
Fetched September 30, 2026, Pencil's pricing page is the platform plan page, not a Scribble SKU page. Annual figures that rendered: Core at $11 per month billed annually, with 50 generations per month; Growth at $44 per month billed annually, with 250 generations per month; Pro is custom pricing with unlimited generations. Monthly dollar amounts did not render in that fetch, so they are not stated here. A signup URL on the page carries plan_id=basic-monthly-14. That is a query parameter, not a price I am willing to treat as the monthly rate.
The compare table on the same fetch rendered many feature rows as "Coming soon." That looks like the page's own "Loading..." shell, not a product fact. Do not cite those rows.
