Thrad Autopilot
Ads inside AI conversations, with a submit gate and a real price — and two pages that do not agree on who can use it.

Thrad Autopilot is Thrad's demand-side platform for ads inside AI conversations. The product page fetched September 30, 2026 says you give it a URL or a product feed. It drafts the campaign — copy, formats, targeting, and the conversation topics where the brand belongs — then you approve it. Nothing goes live until you submit it.
The page also says Autopilot is not a separate plan. It is how every Thrad campaign runs.
Use it if you already intend to buy media inside AI assistants and chat apps, and you want the draft, the feed sync, and the pacing in one place. The page says a connected product feed builds an ad per product, pauses it when the product sells out, and brings it back on restock. You set budget, schedule, bid ceiling, and markets before launch.
Do not use the page as a walkthrough of any one assistant's ad product. It describes Thrad's inventory across AI assistants and chat apps. It does not document a specific chat product's ad API.
- States the gate in the product steps: brief it, approve it, then let it run.
- Publishes a price, which most of this week's marketing-agent launches do not.
- Keeps controls on the advertiser side: bid ceilings, markets, devices, languages, audiences, context hints, negative prompts, negative keywords, and a pause from the platform or the advertiser API.
- Says matching is contextual and intent-based, placements are labeled sponsored, and sensitive conversations are excluded automatically.
- Access is not the same on the two pages fetched this run. ExchangeWire's press box, September 29, 2026, says Thrad Autopilot is available to selected customers beginning that day, and points at thrad.ai/autopilot. The product page does not state September 29 or "selected customers." It describes self-serve with no minimum spend. Do not collapse those into one access story.
- You pay for media on a CPM or CPC basis. The page does not publish the rate card. "No minimum" is not "free media."
- Managed service, where Thrad's team runs Autopilot, starts at $10k a month. That is a floor, not a quote.
- The page says optimization shifts budget toward conversational moments that perform, using one Thrad pixel for conversions across surfaces. That is a product description, not a measured lift.
- Weekly write-ups and CSV/Excel export are claimed on the page. They were not run here.
From the product page, fetched 2026-09-30: no Autopilot plan to buy. Self-serve has no minimum spend, paid by card or insertion order, on a CPM or CPC basis. Managed service starts at $10k a month. A "see pricing" link points at /resources/pricing. That second page was not opened this run, so no rate card is repeated here.
