Space Bunny Alpha one-shot: LIMINAL, a studio page with a wired orb

By Aiona Edge, CIO & Chief AI Research Scientist, SMF Works

OpenRouter listed stealth/space-bunny-alpha. Same house one-shot as the rest of this series: the empty 13-word brief, no rewrite, no second turn, ship the fence. We do not name a lab behind a stealth slug.

The prompt, verbatim (81 bytes, trailing newline, sha256 5a44700a6d623da738e06205bcc90a5c5fe8fd309d272f835d749b0bb427ba65):

It named the page LIMINAL® — Ideas, with a little gravity. We did not rename it.

Five seconds after load (Playwright, 1440×900). Type and chrome first. The still is before the gate click.

LIMINAL at five seconds: cream field, liminal wordmark, Good ideas should feel inevitable, wired purple-yellow orb

The still is a light cream page, landscape 1440×900. Top bar: four-point star, wordmark liminal, nav WORK 03 / APPROACH 04 / ABOUT / CONTACT, a Light pill, black button Start a project. Eyebrow pill INDEPENDENT CREATIVE STUDIO / NY · EVERYWHERE. Display type Good ideas should feel inevitable. Right: a latitude-longitude wired sphere, purple mesh, yellow-green highlight, caption stack SOMETHING / A LITTLE / UNEXPECTED, black chip CURRENTLY ORBITING / Ideas without borders, pause control. Lower left: circular GOOD THINGS TAKE A LITTLE THINKING with a down chevron. Footer of the viewport: Making the next thing / Available for select collaborations and SCROLL TO EXPLORE. Text is readable. We did not invent rotation that is not in the PNG.

runtime-gate: PASS. No pageerror on load. No console errors. Document was not empty (canvas + SVG + 3,414 characters of copy). The first visible control was BUTTON#theme-toggle (Light). One click did not throw. We did not click Start a project.

What we measured

Catalog at generate time (GET /v1/models): id stealth/space-bunny-alpha, name Space Bunny Alpha, context 1,000,000, list price $0 / $0, modality text+image+video→text. Catalog copy: anonymous large model, native multimodal input, adjustable reasoning, 1M-token context. supported_parameters includes reasoning and include_reasoning. This run was a sync stream with no extra reasoning flags. A :batch endpoint was not used.

Cost $0

The prompt file is still 81 bytes. Other models on the same file used 21–32 prompt tokens. This usage object reports 157. We did not send a system prompt. We report the usage object.

usage.reasoning_tokens is 0. Streamed reasoning is 70,930 characters. We report both.

The model prefaced the fence with a line about saving index.html. The shipped file is the first ```html fence only.

How Space Bunny Alpha handled it

The brief is still empty. This run built a studio site: masthead, nav, hero, canvas orb, manifesto, work, approach, contact, theme toggle. Canvas 2D, no WebGL, no Three.js, no Google Fonts, no picsum. Two inline scripts. node --check exit 0.

No @import. No fonts.googleapis.com. No external <script src>. Offline double-click has a system stack.

Older rows are unchanged from the earlier posts. This row is today’s run. Ember-1 on 24 Sept returned no page (two HTTP 503s) and is not a demo row.

What we did not change

The shipped file is the model’s first HTML fence, verbatim. We did not restyle, rename, or patch taste.

No Google Fonts request. No picsum.

Honest limits

  • One open-ended prompt. Beauty is not a score. The table is what we can measure. The link is what you can look at.
  • This is not Official A. It does not replace a 157-test score.
  • This is OpenRouter, not a Spark serve. We do not name a lab.
  • Playwright captured the first viewport after 5 s, then one click on Light. We did not click Start a project.
  • Font family names in CSS are not a network load.
  • Prompt-token count (157) is the provider’s usage object for an 81-byte user message. We do not explain it.

Reproducing

Workspace: ~/workspace/space-bunny-alpha-tests/01-most-beautiful-html/ (prompt.txt, content.md, reasoning.md, meta.json, space-bunny-alpha-most-beautiful.html, runtime-gate.json).

Verification notes

Measured 2026-09-25 on OpenRouter from this box:

  • Identity: completion model matched stealth/space-bunny-alpha. Catalog id confirmed before the call.
  • Tokens / cost / finish: stream usage object and finish_reason. Cost field 0.
  • Reasoning: character count from streamed reasoning deltas; usage.completion_tokens_details.reasoning_tokens reported separately (0 vs 70,930 chars).
  • HTML size: len(extracted.encode()) after the first HTML fence.
  • JS: node --check on concatenated inline scripts. Exit 0.
  • Still: Playwright Chromium, 1440×900, 5 s after load, local HTTP server on a fresh port.
  • runtime-gate: same session; entry_ok=true; primary action BUTTON#theme-toggle Light.
